Gola frá Hrísdal IS2005237717 SOLD


Gola is after Hvinur frá Vorsabær, IS2001187960, (8,47) and Ísing frá Söðlagerði, (after Kaldi frá Vindási, IS1980125040, 8,04).  She is four gated and very promising, with very nice and soft movements.  She received 7,76 for confirmation as a four year old, and 7,46 for ridingability, 7,58 in total.  She has improved a lot since then and could become a good competition and riding horse.  A video of Gola from the show in the spring of 2009 is here.

Mánadís frá Hrísdal IS2005237718 


Mánadís is a very promissing 5 gated mare after Orion frá Litla-Bergi and Saga frá Sigluvík.  She has very good gates and is easy to ride and handle.

Hryðja is after Hrynjandi frá Hrepphólum and Melkorka frá Víðimel.  She has great movements and  very good tölt and trott.  Could be a good sport horse.

Elliði is a 3 year old stallion after Rökkvi frá Hárlaugsstöðum and Mánadís frá Margrétarhofi, ( ridingability 8,11, confirmation 7,88, total 8,02).  He is now in training in Hrísdalur.  He has large and soft movements and we have high hopes for him. See video of him as a two year old here.

Húmvar is black after Adam frá Ásmundarstöðum, a first price four gated stallion with 8,1 for ridingability, (9 for gallop and spirit, 8,5 for tölt, trott and general impressioon) and 8,04 for confirmation, total of 8,08.
Húmvar has done well in competition, both tölt, B-flokkur and four gate competition.  He received 8,41 in B-flokkur at Landsmót 2008 and was best horse in show at Kaldármelar 2007.  Won both B-flokkur and tölt in Kaldármelar open both 2007 and 2008.  Húmvar came in 3rd place at Fjórðungsmót Kaldármelar 2009 with 8,71.
